Mariposa Community Health Center is deeply rooted in Santa Cruz County serving the county since 1980. Santa Cruz County is a vibrant border community working with a diverse patient population that is predominantly Hispanic. MCHC is a Federal Qualified Health Center with 6 clinic locations in Nogales, Rio Rico, Tubac, and Patagonia.

Mariposa recognizes that mental and physical health are fundamentally connected. For this reason, MCHC has an integrated behavioral health care along with medical care. In primary care, MCHC licensed professional counselors are members of the medical staff and work hand in hand with other providers to assure that the patients receive the help they need, both physically, and mentally. For Behavioral Health diagnoses and treatment, MCHC offers psychiatry, therapy, and case management in person and by telehealth for adults and children.

We invite you to be part of the Mariposa family where we value a culture of listening, awareness, trust, compassion, and a sense of community. You will find MCHC practices professionalism, mutual respect, optimal care, and a culture of teamwork.
