Mariposa Community Health Center takes pride in offering opportunities for clinical experiences including, clinical rotations, externships, internships, shadowing in various departments, but not limited to:

• Pharmacy

MCHC offers a unique experience, residents/students work with diverse patient populations and learn the strengths and challenges of serving a rural healthcare community. Santa Cruz County is a vibrant border community in which MCHC is deeply rooted in. MCHC utilizes multidisciplinary and integrated health care models that not only utilize high quality medical care but places a great emphasis on public health. Students have the benefit to receive professional feedback from highly skilled mentors and with a focus on developing and improving their skill set. We welcome residents/students a to become a part of the Mariposa family. 

It is recommended to contact your schools program coordinator for the initial contact. The program coordinator to email humanresources@mariposachc.net with details of the request. Please include contact information, name of school, planned dates of rotation, number of rotation hours, department. Each school will be required to have an Affiliation Agreement with MCHC and provide a Certificate of Insurance.
