Mariposa reveals historical timeline, a tribute to founding CEO, James R. Welden
Mariposa Community Health Center joined health centers nationwide to celebrate National Health Center Week August 13-19, 2017. National Health Center Week is an opportunity to raise awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers, the largest and most successful system of primary healthcare in our nation. This year’s theme for Health Center Week is Celebrating America’s Health Centers: The Key to Healthier Communities
To celebrate Health Center Week, Mariposa held an evening ceremony on August 15th to unveil the organization’s historical timeline displayed in the Mariposa building to honor founding CEO, James Welden, who was in attendance with wife, Claudia Welden. The evening began with a message from State Representative, Daniel Hernandez, Jr., which led into the unveiling of Mariposa’s historical timeline, with CEO, Ed Sicurello highlighting the organizations many achievements over 37 years.
