Mariposans race for the cure in Tucson
Team Mariposas in Action walked with purpose and in solidarity against breast cancer in the 13th Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Reid Park in Tucson, Sunday, April 10, 2011.
This year our team consisted of MCHC employees as well as breast cancer survivors. The 5K walk was a great opportunity to raise funds and bring survivors together, help raise awareness about breast cancer and encourage continued support for research and grant programs. MCHC provided an educational booth at the event, attended by over 15,000 people.
